Services

Our services are for people aged 16 years and over who are currently experiencing mental health difficulties and require regular support to maintain their accommodation and tenancy.

Amber Trust clientsSupported Housing services offer flexible person centred support for people that are in need of accommodation and support. This may be in a shared accommodation with your own room or in a single house or flat.

An advice and guidance service is also available via our local community hubs. These offer support to people to maintain their existing tenancy and manage their home environment.

Staff are skilled in working with individuals to create person centred support plans to achieve positive outcomes in a number of areas.

Such as:

  • Achieve economic wellbeing e.g. claiming benefits, reducing debt or gaining employment.
  • Enjoy and achieve e.g. support to participate in training and to find voluntary work, support to keep in touch with other organisations.
  • Be healthy e.g. support to better manage mental and physical health and support to better manage substance misuse issues.
  • Stay safe e.g. support to maintain accommodation and avoid eviction.
  • Make a positive contribution e.g. support to develop confidence and ability to have greater choice, control and involvement.

The service hours are usually between 9-5 Monday to Friday although more flexible arrangements can be agreed. We also offer a 24 hour housing-related emergency on-call service to all people we support.
